Erm.
The petition I submitted was rather full of little grammatical errors; it has been removed by request. Sorry, folks. I will resubmit after we're moved to the new host. What's that? A new host? Yes indeedy, we're getting a new domain fairly soon. Updates as warranted.
THE PETITION IS GO.
Read it on the Proposal page.
The site will be up and down sporadically while I rebuild it, since I was stupid and used tables instead of CSS layout stuff. I know better now.
The What Can You Do? page has been updated with a short list of things you can do to reduce your consumption of oil products. We'll keep adding items as we find them.
We've set up an Internal Combustion blog. Whereas this news page is primarily site-related and fairly dry, the blog will be an opportunity for us to expound, opine, and vent and for you to comment on our ravings. The commenting will be open to anyone so feel free to express yourself!
The What Is page has been updated with a summary of our beliefs and values and staff information.
We've set up a CafePress.com store where you can purchase some Internal Combustion merchandise. Just so's we're clear, any revenue generated by the store is going directly back into IC, to pay for hosting and promotion and the like. The members of Internal Combustion will not personally receive any money from such sales. Thanks in advance for any contributions!
Welcome to Internal Combustion! This site is still largely under construction, but I hope to have everything live within a week or so. Check out the What Is page to get a better idea of what Internal Combustion is and what we hope to achieve. As soon as our petition is drafted you will be able to find it on the proposal page for review. What Can You Do is a collection of simple things anyone can do to reduce their consumption and overall environmental impact. Take a look at the contact page if you'd like to fire us off an email. We've also assembled a list of relevant links to other environmental and social activism sites and other stuff we think is cool and relevant. The forum is a great place to discuss ideas and get in touch with me and the other IC folks.
Please note that this site is still under construction, so not all the links are functional yet. I'll have them up as soon as possible. Bear with us!
Update: The forum is live!
